Around this time!!.....

Last minute shopping, Christmas in five days, new years around the corner. What do these things have in common? Rushing, meeting deadlines, impatient people, insane drivers, wallet snatchers and a whole lot more. But at the end it all pays off. Another year to look back on and remember. Every year around this time my friends and I have our little yearly ritual. About two of my friends have a fire place in their house's so we gather there and eat hot chocolate, popcorn, roast marshmellows etc.We sit in our p.j.'s around the fire and discuss everything we did or everything that happened to us for that year. It's so fun, we even try new martini receipes too. We just recently decided that we would make a new years scrap book, and every new year that came around we would put in the pics that were taken in that year and of the little get together, we'll also write down if we achieved what we wanted to or not, this can help us work towards it the following year. When we get it together I will put a pic or two up so you can see. It's actually a neat idea when you think about it, because you and your friends can look back on these things together and laugh about the good times. Then on new years day we go out and have a blast!
Hope you all have a happy New Years I know I will!

These pass weeks........

Hey ladies whats been going on!? I don't know about you but I can't wait until the new year comes around, It's definitely time for some ch-ch-ch changes ( sorry I was listening to Macy Grey a few days back) and Christmas is right around the corner. The malls have constantly been packed, traffic is an obstacle to get through! During this time of the year it's like a big rush, then before you know it, it's over. And I know im about a week behind but how about Saleisha winning ANTM? I was rooting for her all the way. And I must say the poor man falling on the runway, was not a good look. Well I'm out until next time!

I don't need an Introduction

Hey, I been gone for a minute but im back! Between my computer acting retarded and me getting my grub on last week, I think it evened out somewhere in between there. The weather over here is unbelievable, it was like 70 degrees on Thanksgiving, and the day after it was like really cold. And now today as I write it's warm and humid outside, last night we had the windows open and the fans on, we still do. It's a good look though, and who saw The Game lastnight!? wow, I can never be disappointed when that comes on. The funny thing was when Derwin picked up the girl at the stop light, and the very first day was calling her his girl, he would've gotten played if it weren't for Melanie, I'll be glad when they get back together. And how about girlfriends? I knew Mya was going to start writing colums about everybody kinda like a black Carrie Bradshaw we'll see if this takes her back to her writing career again. I hate to go but it's goodbyes for now, don't worry I'll be back!

Make-Up Delight!

Hey chicklets!
how's it going?! I've been so busy, working and taking care of business. It's been really crazy. And I was like I have to get up here and let the girls know what's been going on so they won't wonder where I am or get worried! :) I've also been trying to adapt to the cold weather which I do not like might I add. I've made plans to go clubbin this weekend since I don't have to work, and whenever I do my friends and I use this as an excuse to go shopping for something new! But along with a good outfit you need chic and sexy makeup! and nothings more better than some of these products my friends and I use!
*Chocolate Apple*
1) Hip and Chic Felecia swears by this stuff she doesn't go a day or night without Volume Flash Waterproof Mascara by Rimmel London. She loves the fact that it volumizes, won't clump and best of all it's water proof for when shes really gettin' down on the dance floor!

2) Sassy and Crazy Pearl can never go without her Pro Longwear MAC lipglass! she loves the long lasting shine, so she doesn't have to constantly re-apply.
13.50
3) Diva Desiree, has lashes but she really likes her eyes to pop, so not only does she use mascara and a great eye shadow for that. She always relys on 34 Lash also by MAC, long lashes for that dramatic look.
11.00

4) And lastly Glamorous me! I like to have a nice gold shimmer, even when it's not hot outside. And I make it possible with Victoria's Secret Sexy Sparkle shimmer body powder. In Hot Berry, shimmery with a fruity scent!

Tila Tequila and Reality T.V.

Hey ladies! is it me or has these reality t.v. shows gotten beyond ridiculous? Seriously, bachelor and bachelorette were okay, the concept of all those people competing over one person is stupid, because out of the deal only one person gets picked and it's a chance that it's not you. But this new reality show, don't know if some of you saw or heard about it, Tila Tequila the short little asian cyber chick? for those of you who don't know her show is called A Shot At Love. She's bisexual and doesn't know if she likes guys or girls. Lets get one thing straight what you choose for your sexuality to be is your business, your decision and I don't judge people on that. But what makes absolutely no sense is to have a set of girls and a set of guys on the show competing for that one person. These people are up here making complete asses of themselves! and only one gets chosen.
This isn't America's Next Top Model where your granted a prize you get to keep. This is dealing with emotions and feelings. How you feel for one person one way, may not be how you'll end up feeling for them the next. And for those of you who have seen the show or have watched it, can see these people are really getting serious feelings about her, one girl on the show starts crying because she can't stand to look at another person massage Tila's body and give her a kiss. One guy falls in so deep it makes Tila uncomfortable and unsure about him and so she sends him home, and he ends up fighting one of the other contestants on the show, but yet you want someone serious and who doesn't play games? This is insane! It's making my head hurt that people can be so stupid. What a waste of time! messing with peoples emotions is playing games, and it's not funny when someone gets hurt in the process.
Oh and speaking of someone getting hurt in the process, the guy that gets beat up by the dude who got sent home is hurt and has to be rushed to the hospital and all of a sudden you realize you care about that person? Then when he comes back from the hospital she's probably gonna kick him off her her show for not being able to fight good enough, the night of the fight. And hmmm lets see one more angry person! On top of that they showed previews for next weeks show, more drama! This is crazy, what is the world coming to? Let's all pray that the Writers Guild get a raise in their pay so we won't be stuck looking at t.v. show repeats and fresh reality t.v. shows. I have nothing against reality t.v. but shows like these are pathetic and stupid. (just my opinion)

The CW

Well I guess it's officially Fall, I'm trying very hard to adjust to the cool weather. I'm not much of a Fall or Winter person anyway. Yesterday I was cozed up in the house looking at the Monday night line up on the CW. First things first, Girlfriends I'm sorry but I'm not feeling it this season. it's not that Toni's gone it just doesn't have that umph in it that it had all the other seasons. Why do they constantly have to have drama? Why can't they get their lives right? it's like black woman are being sterotyped, and the writer and creator of the show is black so it's like huh? it's like the character never grows or mature and thats what the girls on girlfriends are suppose to be doing. Sure Maya became an author, Lynn became a musician Joan got engaged, but now Maya is not longer an author, they aren't showing Lynn doing anything in her career, and Joan and her fiancee` weren't getting along with each other and now he's in Iraq! after this season Girlfriends needs to call it quits.

On the other hand I really like The Game, and if you've been watching every Monday like I've been then you'll know that The Game is like the IT show. I get anxious and excited everytime it comes on, I can't believe melanie would try to sleep with Malik to get back at Derwin! and Drew Sadora made me so mad when she kissed Derwin at the ESPY awards, how could she talk about her feelings when she knew Derwin was with Melanie, she wanted to get back at him because of that, thats why she slept with him! I knew something was wrong when Malik was being nice to Melanie, when she asked for advice about Derwin. Something wasn't right. and then Tasha walked in on Malik and Melanie even though they did't sleep together, but it did look like they slept together. I know word is going to get around about that! whoo had to get that all of my chest, and I will not MISS next weeks episode!

October is : Breast Cancer Month

C.A. babes! today for me is chill day! yep, my friend came to visit this month so I'll be in the house today grubbin' on junk and watching movies. But I got to thinking, this month is Breast Cancer month, and I know a couple people who have it. As they are constant in my prayers physically something needs to be done too! and thats why this month is so important, so why not do a little something and give to those that need our help? you can do something as simple as walking for the cure, or better yet I know you've all seen those yoplait commercials? eat the yogurt save the lid and mail it in! That simple, not only that you'll feel good that you did something for somebody else or better, is a good thing. I was cruising around found these adorable pink products from many different brands at Amazon! purchase one and a percentage goes towards cancer, the best part? their afforadable and cute and......PINK! The Sweet Escape!!

What's going on my C.A. chicks!?
I just got finished eating the last Fudge Round, I really cannot get enough of those things. I could live off of them literally, Little Debbie has some of the best snack cakes, but not all! I had an interview today with Nika the VA Cake Diva, and a DIVA she is! She has the most adorable cakes I've seen! Not only that she also does hand crafted jewelry her signature photo lollipops and lots more. Oh so adorable! Talk about a busy but talented woman! Take a look.
C.A.:Why do you call your self the VA Cake Diva?
Nika:I thought it was a really cute name and I think I'm the Diva of cakes in Virginia.
C.A.:How long have you been baking cakes?
Nika:For about 5 years
C.A.:When did you know that you wanted to start making cakes?
Nika:I started out at Wal-Mart in the bakery, at first I wasn't really good at it, but once I got the hang of it customers would Oooh and Ahh at their cakes when they picked them up,and always request for me to do their orders.I knew it was my calling, because I liked decorating cakes,it's fun and easy, and I get a kick out of the customers face when they see my finished product.
C.A.:How long does it take you to decorate your cakes?
Nika:Basic ones, half sheets and quarter sheets takes 3 hours. That icludes baking the cake ,allowing it to cool, and making the icing (the actual decorating of a bassic cake after everything is ready,I can do that in like 5 minutes!). The sculpted cakes take about a week, because I would have to make certain parts ahead of time.
C.A.:What other things do you do besides making cakes?
Nika:I do one of a kind beaded jewelry, Diaper cakes for the baby showers, and favors for weddings and other special events.
C.A.:How many orders do you get per week?
Nika:Lately it's been slow with the weather change. I'm more busy in the Summer where I would get like three orders per week.
C.A.:What type of events or parties do you make your cakes for?Nika:Birthdays, Baby Showers, Weddings any event that a cake is needed for.
C.A.:Do you have any future plans or projects for your business?
Nika:I plan on having my own business within two years maybe less, I want to open up my own cake shop. As soon as people see my cakes they ask me do I have any business cards. I get people calling me from parties putting in orders for cakes,so I know that is where I need to be.
C.A.:Where do you bake your cakes and make your crafts?Nika:Currently,I bake and decorate my cakes in my home kitchen. My crafts I do in my home office.
C.A.:You have two boys right?
Nika:yes
C.A.:How old are your boys?
Nika:Six and Two years old
C.A.:Do they help you out in the kitchen?
Nika:They watch. My oldest son asks to decorate cakes, so I make him a batch of cupcakes or something small for him to decorate. He says when he gets older he wants to be a cake decorator/Nascar Driver.
C.A.:What are you thinking about when you decorate your cakes?Nika:How the outcome will be and hoping it turns out like the sketch I drew or the picture in my mind.
C.A.:Who influences you to do more and keep going?
Nika:My husband and his family they give me compliments and feed back and encourage me to keep at it.
C.A.:What is the price range for your work?
Nika:8" Double layered cakes start out at $25 the highest priced cakes are $200 like the Diaper Bag cake and The Dora cake that sits up, because it takes alot of hard work to do it.
C.A.:For the people out their interested what do they have to do to get in contact with you?
Nika:Right now it's word of mouth, and I'm contacted through business cards that I give out,and once i get my business established I will have further contact info. Anyone online interested can just leave me a message on myspace, and I will get back with you.

If you would like to get in touch with the VA Cake Diva drop her a line on her page at www.myspace.com/vacakediva

Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married movie malfunction

I'm Back C.A. babes! and let me tell you their was a disappointment tonight at the movies! No it wasn't Tyler, It wasn't the movie theater it was the...... movie reel i'm guessing. So we get to the movies and the majority of them are sold out, we see alot of people coming out not knowing it was a malfunction . Dissatisfied customers were in a long line getting refunds and going back into the theaters to see the movie for free, or getting their refunds and going home. My friend and I are in the ladies room freshening up before we go take our seats in the theater when we hear two ladies talking about how they got to see the Tyler Perry movie for free. Some one who knows my friend told her they got to the movies at 7:00pm and didn't get out unti about 10:00 pm the movie they went to see malfunctioned they got a refund and saw the movie for free. My friend and I get inside the movie and take our seats, we should have known the film was going to malfunction when the screen telling everyone to silence their cell phones stayed frozen for a good five to ten minutes. After a few more previews the movie played smoothly until about at least 30 to 40 minutes into the movie. The first mishap was that the screen cut off, groans from the people. the movie came back on for two minutes. more groans from the people that was when one of the managers came in to inform us that the movie was experiencing techincal difficulities, more groans a few people get up to leave the majority of the people stays until the movie cuts off yet a third time pops back on and this time it's blurred and jumpy, thats when the majority got up all at the same time and walked out, every one wanted refunds about 15 mins later one of the managers come to the line and informs every one that the movie is back up and running but with dissatisfied customers everyone stands firm with wanting their refunds. Tyler lost money in a certain part of Virginia tonight. I love Tyler Perry and I still suport him because he's talented and his movies and plays are entertaining and outstanding. What made it so bad is that black folks were walking out of the movie saying " I should of gotten bootleg instead!" or "We should of gotten this on bootleg!" I in no way think this is Tyler's fault at all, and it was truly a malfunction. the movie should have been reviewd by the staff at the movies to ensure that it was a good quality film that had gotten sent to them. On top of that I had and experience with the Tyler Perry film Daddy's Little Girls last year, the first time the movie came out, it was excellent, the color, the sound. Nice crisp and clear. I turned around that next week and saw it again with another friend of mine who hadn't saw it. It was horrible! the quality was off, the movie flickered, you could see the mic being held over the actor's and actresse's heads as they were saying their lines you saw shadows every thing. I think certain theater's get certain quality movies from others, or the people aren't doing their jobs right. But once again I do not blame this on Tyler, I don't know him personally but I don't think he would make a messed up film and just throw it out their knowing how much alot of people are fans of his works.

Im So MAXIMVS!! (pronounced maximus)

Hey C.A. babes!
I hope all is well with you! I'm soo Sorry for not updating sooner, I was caught up with business matters and work, so aside from my other blog posts I post, I'm going to have an interview posted, each week for a week so everyone can get to see who I interviewed and check em out! and I still will be posting my regular posts to, so now theirs something in it for everyone, F.A.B!

Now onto the good s**t! I had the pleasure of speaking with rapper MAXIMVS (pronounced, maximus) He is so sweet and down to earth, and ulike some artists out their trying to come up, he doesn't believe in portraying an image that he's not. With blazin' tracks like Where Ya Heart At , Fight The Future and more, he'll keep your ears open and ya heads bobbin'. he's a very talented hard worker and who will , DEFINITELY SHINE! Check it out!
C.A.: how long have you been rapping?
Maximvs:I started when I was about 12 or 13 I knew I wanted to rap when Iheard my first rap song. Listening to artists like N.W.A., Eazy E and Compton Most Wanted. Then later came Snoop and Dre. I listened to a lot of west coast back then but the east coast and the south are really where its at for me.
C.A.:What was your first experience like being in the studio?
Maximvs:When I was about 19, I was living in texas and I was working withthese cats his name was b-down or something like that. It was a small home studio, not much to it. Just a beat machine, a mic and an 8 track recorder.
C.A.:were you nervous?
Maximvs:Yea I guess I was a lil bit. But im confident in my abilitiies, so I just went in there and do what I do.
C.A.:do you write your own music?
Maximvs:Yea I write all my own music and produce most of it too, even the r&b, though I have singers come in and sing those parts.
C.A.:how did you get the name MAXIMVS?
Maximvs:MAXIMVS was a name I was given when I was part of a group. We did alot of concious/ political music back then. The other two in the group called themselves Ra and Hotep after egyptian Gods. Im half Italian so I took the name MAXIMVS, after the roman warrior. America is the new Rome anyway, so I think its fitting.
C.A.:some artsists rap about their childhood and growing up in thestreets, do you write about similar things or a variety of things?
Maximvs: As far as where my music came from, it’s all from experience in someway, as far as the streets I can’t really say anything about it cuzim not really from the streets, I don’t rhyme to much about being a gangsteror thug, cuz im not any of those things. But im not from the suburbseither so don’t get it twisted.
C.A.:who have you worked with so far in the industry?
Maximvs:My homeboy Khali I’ve worked with him for over 10 years now. He mentoredme in a lot of things as far as music and the industry are concerned. All my dudes that I really mess with hard, are in my top 8 on my myspace page. I havent worked with any really big names yet, but im going to.
C.A.:what sets you apart from the other artists out there?
Maximvs: I’m very diverse. im able to adapt to pretty much any type of track. I can do a dance track or talk about subjects that actually matter. Imnot talking about poppin chris, and smoking weed. I like to appeal tothe females but I also do the harder tracks for the fellas as well. I just rap about what goes on in every day life.
C.A.:tell me about the track on your album, Fight The Future?
Maximvs:The beat for that song was done by a dude called Akademics. I heard the beat and I already knew I wanted to put a message to the song. It basically says wake up and open your eyes before the freedoms we all take for granted everyday no longer exist. I dont know about you but I dont want no microchip in my arm. Theres already a camera on every street corner. Were basically headed for a police state. Chances are if you voted for Bush, you wont like that song.
C.A.:So is your album already out?
Maximvs:Yea its out, if you want a copy you can download it at www.myspace.com/maximvsmusic.
C.A.:any artists featured on your album?
Maximvs: Yeah, Khali’s on the album. He produced "Where ya heart at", and 1 or 2 other tracks on the album. Hotep, Vigh Slim, L jai, and Cedric Owens.
C.A.:why did you name your album Listen Hear?
Maximvs:I didn’t want to come off with an album title that was too cocky, but also not too understated. Just basically listen to it and hear what im sayin. It’s my first album and im still trying to build a fan base so I just kept it simple.
C.A.:I listened to your tracks on myspace and I really liked Around TheWorld, and Where ya heart at, do you have any favorite tracks on your album?
Maximvs:My two favorite tracks are Senorita and Goodbye.
C.A.Why?
Maximvs:Both tracks I wrote and produced entirely. Those tracks are completely me. Thats the type of music I really like doing.
C.A.:I read that you’ve showcased for naughty by nature, how was that experience?
Maximvs:It was cool. When I showcased for Naughty by Nature it was a concert andthey were asking people to come up and free style, so I did. I cant honestly say it was my best performance, but I got to chop it up with em’ a lil bit after the concert so it was cool.
C.A.:whats your advice for aspiring rappers out their trying to make itor get their selves out their?
Maximvs:Be who you are don’t come out there thinking you have to be 50 cent, most rappers think you have to be a gangster to be a rapper andthat’s not the case. Just do you, cause if you try to fake it, it wont be long before everyone sees right through it.
C.A.: how do you feel about the progress you’ve made from when youfirst started out to now?
Maximvs:Over all, I feel good about it. I feel like I’ve come along way from when I first started. I had a Casio keyboard and a karaoke machine I was trying to record on, now I have thousands of dollars worth of equipment. I still aint where I want to be though.
C.A.: who are your influences?
Maximvs:Nas, 2Pac, LL Cool J, Common, Jay-Z
C.A.:any last words?
Maximvs:If you haven’t heard the album please go listen to the album, tellyour friends about it. If your feeling it buy it, I don’t care if youdownload it and make your friends a copy, im just trying to get my name out there.I'll take all the support and promotion I can get, and I appreciate it.
Shouts to all my people, Khali, Hotep, Dony Adair, Vigh SlimAkademics, Optimus Rhyme, Silver Dollar, and Malachi.

Jena 6

Hey all my Chocolate Apple Chicks!,

Did you wear your black yesterday? I sure did, I showed support and hopefully you did to. The situation about those poor boys is just an outrage to me! But thanks to radio talk show host Michael Baisdon, Jesse Jackson and alot more others, something is being done about this. Now for those of you that don't know this is about the Jena 6 trial thats been going on, It's taken place and still is in Jena,Louisiana where a young black male teenager was convicted of aggraveted assualt for a school yard fight, that was brought on by white students who hunh three nooses under a tree to warn the black students not to sit there. The hate crime was dismissed by the school as a harmless prank, and the black students started to protest under the tree. The school then called the local district attorney who told the black students that he could take away their lives the stroke of a pen. Authorities still did not do anything about the situation, this led to numerous fights between white students and black students, but only the black students were tried and found guilty by an all white jury and were thrown in jail. Just recently one student Michael ball was released but had already been given his sentence. Now five of the boys remain, so far their have been rallies, marches, people have and still are getting buses together for this, so many people have gotten involved like activists, celebrities to name a few Ice Cube, 50 Cent, sooooo many more comedians actors, actresses, everyday people this is serious, and lets all remember that this is

Girl calm down, I'm Still Here!

What you want me to do? I'm sorry! I'm back, he he he

Sorry, got a lil Jay-Z on the brain or should I say Hov? Yes I'm still here and I haven't gone anywere. I'm just tired from working hard. And we know how that can be, tiring, stressful, side affects include headache, dizziness, weakness, not being able to function, hurting feet, restless acts of behavior etc. The cure for some but not many? taking some sleeping pills , tylenol or cough syrup ( I suggest cherry and grape flavors) and going to bed! Well maybe thats just me, and even better results after a nice hot shower or bath! So soothing!
I just so happen to be looking at the news tonight, I'd say about an hour ago. When a man gets sent to jail for trying to pay his speeding ticket in change! WOW! okay at least he was attempting to pay it!! My is it me or are situations getting crazier and crazier by the day? maybe he felt like the ticket ddin't deserve to be paid in cash, maybe he had alot of change just collecting around the house or the car, or in a little piggy bank somewhere, and he decided that he wanted to get rid of it? My mom suggested that maybe it was to much work , to have the change counted to make sure it came up to seven hundred (thats how much the ticket was). So basically whats going to happen is he'll just have to pay the ticket in cash, and he can go about his business.
Today is September 11th, the day of this month will always be remembered, I remember hearing about it when it happened. I was in school when all of a sudden the t.v. monitors popped on, the principal came over the loud speaker and explained what happened to all the students and staff of Great Bridge high. We had a moment of silence, but that wasn't enough for some of the anxious kids in school, who had family in Newyork, that lived or either worked by the Twin Towers. After school I rushed to get inside of the door, and I got word from my mother that our folks were alright. But their were alot of other families that weren't. This quickly went into history books, for it is apart of history, but it's something that we'll be able to tell to our kids, every year the day comes around or when they finally make it to school and ask qustions, of course teachers will tell them about it too. My heart continues to go out to those families who lost loved ones and friends, and to the children whos parents now live on in their hearts, and in their memories, And I would also like to dedicate this to the hurricane katrina victims, to for they felt just as much pain when the natural disaster occured.

"Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down."

Hey my Mami's im back again!
Yes you get a double dose of me in one day! twice as juicy and sweet! yum, im sure you've heard of the new movie the "Nanny Diaries" which is based off of the novel " The Nanny Diaries" I'm really interested in seeing this I saw the small trailor and I predict that it may do okay. The movie is a about a college graduate fron NYU, named Annie played by Scarlett Johansson who I think looks very cute in the movie with the little innocent pigtails and all, who is trying to "find herself in the world." She ends up becoming a nanny for a little boy after saving him from getting hit by a man on a motor bike , with a mother whos scared of her own child , who lacks getting attention from her, but she also has a very busy schedule. The movie is said to be a modern day "Mary Poppins." Which also stars Alicia Keys who playes "Lynette"as one of Annie's college friends. It's a comedy and romance in one, Annie and the guy across the hall start to have a thing for each other, well im not going to spill any more but this is going to be one of those movies where of course you know it's going to end, and if you dont know you can just go see the movie like I am and you'll find out!

And while were still on the subject of movies, J-Hud (jennifer hudson) is said to be doing an autobiography movie, playing none other than Aretha Frankin the Queen of Soul! did ya hear me!? no further information has been released of when the movie is to be finished, but it is in the making! A movie to get your tickets in advance for! Do I smell another Oscar?

Money,Money, Money,Money!!

What's a crackin' my Chocolate Apples!?
I'm just sitting here, looking at the weather it's so sunny and pretty.
I'm off work today, finally a day off! I feel good, I slept in a little late, I plan on digging into a book after this, just wonderful. Oh this week is pay week! yay for me, hooray for pay day! and speaking of money the $100 bill is getting a new look! A new security thread has already been approved, it's said to be something like "magic" and will cause double takes. The Dalton mass- based company has a $46 million contract to produce the security thread, by moving the bill from side to side the image moves up and down, move the bill up and down and the image moves from side to side. Sounds neat, the new look is to thwart counterfeiters who are armed with sophisticated computers, scanners and color copiers. The bill is expected to go into circulation late next year.

Well thats the juice, the Chocolate Apple is signing off!

It Is Now Tea Time Ladies!!

Hi my lovely Chocolate Apples!!
Well wouldn't you know?! today is hump day! hope you've haven't had any problems getting over any humps in your life, well at some points we all have humps we have to get over. That's life you know? Well these poor celebs have humps they're trying to get over too!

Poor Lindsay! whatever happen to the sweet, red head, freckled-faced girl who use to also star in her own kid movies like the Olsen twins? Who also starred in movies such as "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" to name a few. Well like all, she got a little older started hanging with the wrong crowd, turned blonde and fierece and now shes in a heap of mess! She was said to have been arrested for driving under the influence, and she ended up spending her 21st B-day in rehab. ( well im at least glad she was in a safe place) Just days after being released from rehab, she gets busted for a DUI, possession of cocaine and drving on a suspended license. Reporters say she could face up to 8 years in jail. There were also some sources that mention that she should give the entertainment industry a rest, and that is was putting to much stress and pressure on her. I just hope she gets her self together and gets back on track, I am a Lindsay fan and I would hate to see her not be able to get herself together. Well Lindsay your in my Prayers!

Well a new season of the "Simple Life" is back, this time their turning out camp! Yep that's right Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Speaking of Nicole she spoke with Diane Sawyer on ABC News, announcing she is pregnant, the father of the baby is rock band Good Charlotte's own Joel Madden. Nicole also told Diane about her plea, and claims that she has learned her lesson about drunk driving, how it can really ruin a family, and take someones life, she also spoke about how partying can have a bad influence on the fans. Well it seems like someone is trying to turn their life around, and I hope that she is and will, The show will air Thursday. and on "20/20" Friday night of this week.

We all know about the Virginia native, quarter back for the Alanta, Falcons. Michael Vick whos said to have had, dog fighting going on in the back of his home. Although reporters say Vick said it was not him, and that he was unaware of his family doing these activites, Vick is still responsible. Vick has not been allowed to go to camp, he is currently not on the team, although he does have a few athletes and his younger brother, on his side. This still has to be taken to court to decided what will happen to Vick, he just recently lost another sponsor on Tuesday- Rawlings a sporting goods company reporters say has ended their relationship with Vick. His career and reputation as we know it could be over. He's standing firm to his word, so im hoping that he did not have anything to do with this. But even so I think his family should go, If it is the family doing these illegal acts thats getting you in trouble and putting your rep and career on the line, why aren't you taking action on them? Kick them out! let them find their own places to live, i'm sure most of them are probably grown or of age, and if thats the case, they are taking advantage. This can be a lesson in some way, we don't know if it was actually the family forreal or not, but sometimes family can be your own worst enemy.
And that's the Juice, from the Chocolate Apple herself!

BeeYonce! BeYonce!

Hello to all and to all a great big HELLO!

Oh I'm still pumped up and excited and the concert was yesterday! I told my C.A. ladies I was going to lace ya with the details now, didn't I? well like a clutz I left my digital camera so I couldn't get any pics right? BUMMER! I know! and I was so upset with my self because at some conerts some theatres won't let you bring cameras and such in, except if it's like your cell phone or something but some how people always manage to get theres "in". So any way I had it with me and decided to bring it! we get to the entrance where the tickets get checked and they didn't care if you had a camera or not! DARN! everytime I think about it! Moving on we get to our seats and we have a very good view, I also saw one of my old class mates from high school. we just so happen to be sitting in the same section. can you believe the people sitting on the floor paid two to three hundred dollars!? whoo! it was somebody's birthday, somebody won a ticket off of a radio show or something, or either yoiu just making some pretty decent money. the show started at 8 o clock. And a young lady by the name of Katy Shotter started off the show, I'm guessing by her accent she was from london, or england but none the less she was pretty good. Miss Beyonce had us waiting for her for like a good hour and a half! then finally the lights went out, everybody starts hollering and screaming! and jumping up and down, and she comes out with her silver short dress on and starts singing "crazy in love" and of course everybody was doing the booty dance!, Me my Cuz and some cool people above us, that we met at the concert were going bananas! the second song she sung was "freakum dress" and we sunbg everyword to that! she had an all female band, her female dancers and her male dancers. And how about when she sung her single "flaws and all" she started to cry! I knew who she was thinking about, we all had a idea in our minds we were just waiting to see if she was going to say it or show it. At the end of the song she threw up that dynasty sign . The crowd went wild! we knew she was talking about her man Jay-Z! my cuz and I , and the the cool people up top were turing around hollering at each other "I knew it!" "I knew she was talking about Jay-Z!" she sung "Survivor" and "Cater to you" "Independent women" and while she would scurry to the back to go a quick costume change her band and dancers kept us entertain. And I also have to give them their props too! All different color women black, asian, white and biracial, now thats what Im talking about talented diversity! The guy dancers were "HOT"! while during some songs and parts of the concert they danced around her, or she danced with them, her female dancers were dancing with her too, and she had two beautiful plus size women who came on stage with her to dance and sing "crazy in love" and they were her back up for the remainder of the concert too!of course she sung "ring the alarm" she came on stage with a long bergundy metallic like trench coat, with her dancers, the moves were so hot a few people including us were saying " go on head janet!" and "get it janet!" she was wonderful, she was so beautiful!, when she sung "get me bodied" she came on stage in a robot suit( not the gold one on BET) It was yellow and black, resembling the Bee on the cover of her album, it opened up, of course we all screamed! with delight and crazy joy! she did all the dances. she also sung"listen" "check up on it" while she was performing "check up on it" she played with the song a little bit, at first siging it slow I guess she was amusing her self because she burst out laughing! and we were like " she is sooo goofy!" she sung "baby-boy" and went into "murder she wrote" we were tripping she had the male dancers out there and they were dancing around her in the smoke, while she had her little exotic dance moves going on. she had also broke out singing a little Jill Scott before she went into "Flaws And All" she sung her piece of "hollywood" and her piece of "03 Bonnie and Clyde" while holly wood was playing she ran back stage to change and a little film clip of her fame and her pictures were rolling. Oh! I did not mention to you that her and her female dancers had the fleshtone body suits we had to get a closer look because we thought they were naked! and of course for the last song she sung "Irreplaceable" she had us repeat the words after her and then she broke out singing the song! and before she left the stage she left the audience with some encouraging words "young people, remember to stay focus, and stay positive, this too could be you standing on this very stage!" we all cheered and clapped, and whoo hooed! It was definitely a "Beyonce Experience" with all the sparks, and the lights and popping out of stage, whoo! she is bad! Beyonce you did your thang girl!!

Monokini's The Word!!

What It Do!? my sexy C.A. mami's?

I know we all have been hitting up the beach, or a theme park or maybe were trying to but haven't yet? well you need to try very hard to get out before the summer is over! because your gonna end up regreting it! But that reminds me of a little story I wanna tell you Sexy C.A. Mamis! Me and one of my cousins and her adorable baby, went to the beach, the whole entire time I kept blabbing on about those hot one-piece swimsuits! I mean they have totally turned the one-piece around and have given it another name! these sexy, erotic one-pieces don't look like the blab ugly, no -shape showing big piece of stretchy material they use to. Although she preferred to stay with the two-piece. Yes, dont get me wrong I'm still, in love with the two-piece too, but the one-piece's I've seen, are hot! so we were leaving the beach and I just so happen to see this girl wearing an adorable one-piece! and Im tapping my cousin on the shoulder and pointing her in the girls direction. I had to ask her where she got hers from, because the ones I saw, were on the internet and pricy but what swim suits aren't right? but I was looking for a store location to get mine from not a website. So me and my cousin went to ask her, because I had to know! and you wouldn't believe the words that flowed from her mouth! "Target" I was in awe! but not surprised. I was so upset like, why hadn't I thought to look on Target? DUH! so I found Expensive monokini's and some cool , affordable ones from, you guessed it! Target!

Life Lessons Are Valuable! Learn From Them!

Hey My Sexxi Chocolate Apples!

Hows it going today? I was a little upset over a stupid thing I did. I shed a little tears and I sucked it up, one thing about life is that you do learn your lessons the hardway, and thats what I did. I did something that got me in a rut. but when I get everything cleared and straight this will be taken as a life lesson for me. It will be taken as a one time, stupid mistake that will never be made again. and even when I have a family in my future I will forewarn my children of these things,.... its not anything too extreme but this can hurt you, it can hurt your credit. This something I did was when I was 18, and it followed all the way until now. Never let anybody lure you into anything if it doesn't feel right, then don't do it! well to let you know, its sort of a financial situation. can u guess what it is? it got me a little depressed but I have faith that everything will turn out okay, it may take some weeks or a month. no longer than a month though! and it was a great Poet and writer who once said " When someone shows you who they are, believe them" That was from Maya Angelou! that quote touched me dramatically and it will go on with me until the day I die. and I will tell that to my future children!

On a happier note me and one of my best cousins are going to the Uh Oh, Uh Oh, Uh Oh , Uh No No! Beyonce conert! shes coming to Virginia July, 27th and we can't wait! I know she is going to throw down! and i'll let you know how it went when I get back! Cuz you must not know bout me!!

My, have I got some juicy news for you!

Hiya! my sexy C.A. readers!

How are your morning's starting off so far? I can't complain. I'm sure some of you are still sleep, and thats okay because when u wake up this'll still be here for you to read!
And here comes the juice! i'm sure you've all heard or haven't heard about model Kim Porter and Sean Diddy Combs split? Reporters say Kim Porter announced that she broke up with Diddy first. Kim also recently just had twin girls by Diddy, and a son they had together previously . Reporters say Kim said that she was tired of the on again, off again relationship they were having. Heres what I believe, they are going to get back together I feel that this is soo not over just yet between those two!

Anywho 27, year old female rapper Remy Ma whos real name is Remy Smith was in a NYC shooting, at a bar in downtown's Manhattan meat-packing district, Remy and the victim shot 23 year old Makeda Barnes-Joseph. were said to be childhood friends. Prosecutors say Remy Ma shot Makeda Barnes-Joseph twice in the toroso, after the two argued over 2,000 which Remy Ma says was stolen. She then jumped in her blue Cadillac Escalade with several unidentified males, and crashed the car three blocks away from the bar. Makeda Barnes was taken to the hospital and was said to be in stable condition. Remy turned her self in around 8:00pm Saturday July, 14. she pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon and assault, she was set on an arrainged bail at 250,000 dollars, she is due back in court august 14. Far as i'm concerned shes not a friend, anybody could have stolen the money! maybe this was a set up? who knows, guess we'll find out more with the next court date!

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies!!

We all have our favorite male singers when it comes down to R&B, Their bodies are all fit, and muscular with just the right amount of tattoos or none at all. Their voices make us melt, and want to have secret affairs on our mates in our minds! well there are three R&B sensations that have formed a group. Tank , Ginuwine and Tyrese. And that's actually a good mix! the group right now its known as T.G.T they are going to start having auditions soon for males only, to add a fourth member to the group. I think Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese is enough, why a fourth member? anyway they've already done the remix of "Please Don't Go" together one of Tank's singles from his album "Sex,Love&Pain" (in stores now) the group also have an upcoming "Shirt's Off Tour" (ooool yummy!) which will be held at places such as NewYork, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago and Miami. Now if we pay attention, you'll notice this is almost like another L.S.G. for those that don't know, Keith Sweat, the late Gerald Levert, and a former member of the 80's and 90's group New Edition Johnny Gill. It's said they are in the studio working on the group album now! This is going to be interesting a three-in- one deal here! Will they last? we'll see!

And that's the Juice !from the Chocolate Apple herself!

Today Is National Ice Cream Day!

Hey my Chocolate Apple readers!

Did you all know that today is National Ice Cream Day? I didn't even know there was such a day! (really I didn't) and im sure alot of you probably didn't know either. Well it was president Reagan that declared July as National Ice Cream Month, and the third Sunday of the month as none other than National Ice Cream day. and since were on the topic of ice cream, I went to Cold Stone yesterday, for those of you that don't know what Cold Stone is, it's an ice cream creamery that makes ice cream on a frozen granite stone! Hence the name Cold Stone. Their ice cream is delicious you pick a signature flavor or you can get your own custom ice cream made. The ice cream is already there, like the chocolate, vanilla etc, the ingredients are all layed out. They basically put the ingredients in your ice cream that come with the flavor or you can add your own, they use two heavy metal ice cream scoop shovels and once everything is in, they mix it by hand using the scoops, then they scoop it off of the stone, and put it into a bowl or waffle bowl, they come in sizes Like It (small) Love It (medium) or Gotta Have It (large) for those who can't resist because its sooooo goood! They also sale pint size ice cream containers, half gallon size ice cream containers and gallon, this is so that you can put your custom ice cream you created or one of the signature flavors in one of the containers and take it home for the whole family to enjoy! and another thing they also have ice cream cakes!! Its like your one stop ice cream shop, to take care of your frozen dairy needs!
